Traditional diffuser aeration systems attempt to aerate by generating a vertical circulation that distributes oxygenated water from the surface of the pond/tank throughout the water column. These diffuser systems are often incapable of adequately circulating and oxidizing produced water.

The Aeromax Aeration System creates a fine bubble cloud that originates and circulates at the base of the water column. As vertical and lateral circulation are generated, the dispersion of the fine bubble clouds leads of effective continuous oxidation of the water.

  • The Aeromax technology entrains a range of bubble sizes while supersaturating the pumped water.
  • Bubble size is adjustable based on application goals.
  • Smaller bubbles = high surface area for gas transfer.
    • Maximizes gas transfer between air and water (O2 dissolution).
    • Very slow rise rate, maximizing allowable time for gas transfer.
  • Larger bubbles = higher rise rate.
    • For PW Treatment – Enhances flotation and separation of oil from water.
    • For Quality Maintenance – Enhances vertical turnover and oxygen distribution.
